Hello, I'm Kami!

I'm so glad you're here! I'm a lifestyle photographer based in Virginia.

I first fell in love with photography in high school and college…back in the days of film and the darkroom. During my time at Virginia Tech I studied mass communications and journalism and served as a teacher’s assistant in the photography department.

With a camera in my hand, time always slows down and I am able to notice details and connections that I may have otherwise missed. Having my babies made me want to preserve the chubby thighs and belly laughs forever. Loosing my dad made me treasure every frame.

I decided to pursue this lifelong love of mine further…to help document a glimpse into your world as it is today…because as we know it changes in the blink of an eye.

I am currently the contributing photographer for Westhampton Living Magazine and River Road Living Magazine. I love taking portraits of families & soon to be graduates. I’d be honored to capture the sweet details and beautiful chaos of your everyday and help you display this chapter of your life and share it with your loved ones.

As a small business owner myself, I also love collaborating with other business owners to help you communicate your value and help build your brand through beautifully imagery to help attract your ideal clients. I live in Richmond, Virginia with my husband, three kiddos and our giant great pyrenees puppy.
